Howdy ya'll!
We've been getting a lot of questions concerning Trick-or-Treating in regards to Boo in the Park. We are pleased to announce that Boo is NOT replacing traditional trick-or-treating activities! Trick-or-Treat will officially begin at 6PM on Tuesday, October 30th. During this time, we remind all residents to have both a courteous and patient mindset. There will be a lot of children on or near our streets, and with all the festivities going on, it will be your responsibility as a motorist to make sure you do their part to keep them safe. We most certainly do not want a tragic accident on our hands. Between 6PM and 9PM, the speed limit on all city streets will be 15MPH. Remember that pedestrians always have the right of way. Taylorsville Police Department will be out patrolling more actively than usual, and may at times be running blue rights to be more visible. We hope to see everyone outside enjoying the evening at both events! All the best, Mayor Phipps
